Hi, my name is Maddie Grace Gladden and I have the privilege of serving as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Gamma Delta. One of the things I love about the women of the Gamma Sigma chapter is their willingness to serve the community in which we are placed. Our international philanthropic efforts focus on fighting hunger globally and providing support to those who may suffer from food insecurity. Because of our international partnership with Meals on Wheels and Feeding America Programs, we have the opportunity to support and make a hands-on impact outside of the community of Troy. Additionally, we are able to work with the Office of Civic Engagement through the university to help with different food initiatives they work with. We also are able to support Common Ground Troy which is an after-school program for boys where they can complete their homework among other things. Another philanthropic opportunity we have started is a mentorship program at Charles Henderson Middle School which consists of mentoring females who attend the middle school. I am very excited to see the impact this chapter will make in our community this year and I am grateful for the women of this chapter who have a love for serving our community.
With love, Maddie Grace Gladden
